Well I work now at a local themepark and so much has transpired in the last moth or so. I am in Florida, all my education and experience means nothing. I have had to start my new job at the bottom. I learned that today the ability to fix a situation involving a guest is empowered to every team member but has restrictions. People that have no business being in charge of things are. In the hospitality industry the guest is not always right. When a person comes to visit florida theme parks they spend lots of money but they do not get the best service, damn it if I spend 200 bucks to get into theme parks every one that works there have better treat me with courtesy and respect, I am not saying for them to kiss my ass but at least show me that I am important, how easily we forget. Its neat being on the lower end of the totem pole and see how you would do things alot difference. Is guest service going away, is it a pipe dream. I would also like to send a shoutout to all my baby mama's.
